Cloud9 Nebula NA Closed Qualifiers – Important Update 7/20
In order to further accommodate Twitch Rivals we are making the following final schedule changes:
- Semifinals A – Space Pirate, will be moved from Thursday, July 23rd to Friday, July 24th at 7:00PM PDT to accommodate Twitch Rivals Finals.
- Semifinals B – Mecha Pilot, will be moved from Friday, July 24th to Saturday, July 25th at 7:00PM PDT

Cloud9 Nebula NA Closed Qualifiers – Important Update 7/14
We’d like to address concerns voiced by both players and the TFT community around the Cloud9 Nebula NA Qualifier:
We have faced many obstacles during this tournament, one we didn’t account for was the Patch release schedule – we acknowledge this and we apologize.
To accommodate both Twitch Rivals and the Patch schedule, we will be making the following schedule changes:
- Wednesday, July 15th – Group Celestial – Move start time from 6:00PM PDT to 7:00PM PDT
- Thursday, July 16th – Group Darkstar – Move start time from 6:00PM PDT to 7:00PM PDT
- Seeding for semifinals will be conducted immediately following the final round on Thursday, July 16th.
- The semifinal group with the fewest amount of Twitch Rivals participants will play on Thursday, July 23rd. The other group will play on Friday, July 24th. The methods of seeding the semifinalists will not change and can be referred to in the Nebula Rulebook.
- Semifinals Group #1 will be moved from Wednesday, July 22nd to Thursday, July 23rd starting at 7:00PM PDT
- Semifinals Group #2 will be moved from Thursday, July 23rd to Friday, July 24th starting at 7:00PM PT

A big shout-out goes out to Mismatched Socks for being the top qualifying player! Competitors will be seeded into 4 eight-player groups, with the top 4 from each group advancing to the semifinals.

Group Astro: July 8th – 6:00PM PDT
Group Battlecast: July 9th – 6:00PM PDT
Group Celestial: July 15th – 6:00PM PDT
Group Dark Star: July 16th – 6:00PM PDT
Semifinal A: July 22nd – 6:00PM PDT
Semifinal B: July 23rd – 6:00PM PDT
Finals: July 30th – 6:00PM PDT
Additionally, to accommodate the recently announced Twitch Rivals event as much as possible, we are making the following modifications:
- Tournament timing:
- The tournament will now begin at 6:00PM PDT (Changed from 5:00PM PDT).
- Semifinals Process:
- On Friday July 17th @ 7:00AM PDT, We will be sending a form to all 16 semifinalists to verify their participation in the next part of the tournament. This form will have a deadline of Sunday,July 19th @ 11:59PM PDT.
- If any of these 16 semifinalists do not respond or cannot participate in the semifinals, they forfeit their position and the opportunity will be extended to the next person in the standings (17th place onward).
