We at Cloud9 are thrilled to welcome the newest member of the Cloud9 family, René cajunb Borg, to the Counter-Strike Global Offensive roster! Joining us after most recently spending over a year with OpTic Gaming, cajunb is a true veteran of the game, his competitive experience with CS:GO dating back to 2012, and his experience as a competitive player going back to 2009 with Counter-Strike: Source. We’re excited to see what his extensive experience can bring C9, so join us in welcoming him to the team!

With a career spanning nearly a decade, cajunb has racked up accolade after accolade, including a 2nd-place finish at DreamHack Open Summer 2018, a championship at DreamHack Open Montreal 2017, and a championship at EPICENTER 2016. We look forward to him continuing his successes with C9!

When you join an organization like Cloud9 there will always be a lot of pressure and expectations. I will do my best together with my teammates to make sure we succeed and make the fans proud.

I’m excited for a veteran like cajunb to begin playing with Cloud9. I believe he can teach our young players a lot from his years of experience in Counter-Strike. Welcome to the C9FAM.

Jonathan Tran, Cloud9 CS:GO General Manager

It’s rare to see such an extensive esports career as cajunb has, so we’re really pleased about getting a chance to work with him. Welcome to Cloud9, cajunb!
