Cloud9 is excited to announce the promotion of Ibrahim Fudge Allami from the Academy roster to our LCS roster, so please join us in welcoming our newest LCS Top Laner! Fudge joined the organization in January of 2020 and immediately made waves with his stellar play in the NA Academy League. His incredible talent and excellent work ethic have earned him a spot on the main stage, and we can’t wait to see the success he brings next year!

Fudge began his competitive career in 2018 in the Oceanic Challenger Series as a member of Intuition. His career got off to an audacious start, as Intuition finished the OCS 2018 Regular Season a perfect 13-0. In 2019, Fudge moved over to MAMMOTH Academy where he again excelled, helping his team to a league-best 10-1 regular season record. His ability was quickly recognized and Fudge was promoted to the MAMMOTH roster for OPL 2019 Split 2. Again success would follow, as he helped MAMMOTH to a 16-5 regular season record and the eventual OPL championship on their way to qualifying for Worlds 2019. At Worlds, Fudge and MAMMOTH became quick fan favorites for their tenacity, taking two games from Unicorns of Love in their group. Although they would eventually be eliminated in a tiebreaker, Fudge’s talent had come through on the grandest stage of all.

Fudge has shown enormous potential from the moment we picked him up.  Not only is he a mechanically proficient player but he fits our team culture perfectly.  Our fans are in for a real treat this Spring and I can’t wait to see him show everyone what he is capable of.

Jack Etienne, Cloud9 CEO and Co-Founder

With Cloud9 Academy, Fudge’s legacy of success continued, helping lead the team to a combined 27-9 regular season record in 2020, as well as victory in both the Spring and Summer playoffs, making Cloud9 Academy back to back Academy champions.

It has been a pleasure facilitating and watching Fudge develop as a player on our Academy team. He is an amazing student of the game and his commitment to the process at Cloud9 is finally going to pay off. He is more than ready for a shot at the LCS and we know he’ll absolutely crush the opportunity ahead of him.

Jonathan Tran, League of Legends General Manager
