Cloud9 Disbands Vainglory Division

By John Nomis | |

We at Cloud9 announce today that our Vainglory roster of Gabriel Oldskool Villamariona, Joseph iLoveJoseph Samano, Gabe gabevizzle Villarin, and Anthony R3cKeD McGowan is being released at the discretion of the organization.

The players took Cloud9 to impressive heights, winning two Unified Western Live Finals championships, winning the first Mobile Masters Vainglory tournament, and finishing third at Worlds, all while never finishing a regular season lower than second. We are proud and grateful for what they helped us achieve and we wish them only the best moving forward.

“It’s been a great experience working with all of these guys, and what they were able to accomplish was inspiring. We would be happy to work with all of them again if the opportunity arises, and I wish them luck in whatever comes next.”
— Jack Etienne, Cloud9 CEO & Founder
